Is 5.5 inches too small? It used to be that size, and for me, it was definitely too small. Most guys, except for the really gifted ones like Ron Jeremy and Tommy Lee, feel insecure about their penis size to some degree. Even when you show them studies that confirm that they are average or even above, guys always worry that the object of their affection has had previous lovers with bigger and more satisfying penises. I’ve talked to guys who are 7 inches or taller and I’m still worried they won’t “measure up” where it counts.

Whatever its size, it doesn’t make you unusual if you are apprehensive about whether or not it’s big enough to satisfy a woman. When I was endowed with 5.5 inches in length and 5 inches in diameter, I certainly had those apprehensions, so I set out to confirm or refute my suspicion that 5.5 inches was simply not enough to satisfy most women.

I first started studying penis size averages. Many studies have been done on this topic, but most of them are nonsense. The reason many of these studies are not good is because they are based on self-measurement. One of the largest penis size studies of all time simply sent postcards to hundreds of men and told them to hold it against their penises and “mark” their size on the card. Although the responses were totally anonymous and it’s not like the names were posted alongside the sizes, let’s face it, we’re guys and we’ll probably go overboard when given the chance about our member sizes.

Therefore, the only studies that should be seriously considered when trying to determine what the “average” is for an adult male penis are unbiased studies in which population samples were randomly chosen from the adult male population. , self-selection was not present (after all, what kind of guys do you think would be more likely to volunteer to measure their penises?), and most importantly, where penis size was measured by staff members from the survey, NOT by the men themselves.

There have been several studies that meet these requirements and all have returned roughly the same averages. 6.5 inches long and 5 inches in circumference. The standard deviation is around 0.5 inches, which means that more than two-thirds of men are between 6 and 7 inches long. My suspicions were confirmed: my 5.5-inch penis put me among the smallest men.

That was my first hint that 5.5 inches was too small. If you know women, you know they like to compare men in that area, and that added to my insecurities knowing for a fact that the other men my sexual partners were comparing me to were overwhelmingly bigger than me. The second thing that killed my confidence was the fact that with my 5.5 inch penis, I was never able to make a woman climax through intercourse alone. I finally spoke to a woman who told me flatly that my size was part of the problem. Because he was so short, he couldn’t stroke long and deep enough to create enough friction or sensation and he certainly didn’t have enough girth to compensate for it.

So what did I do about it? I enlarged my penis naturally using only my hands. The way I did this was by using a series of penis traction exercises on the shaft of my penis every day. When you put traction on your penis, it triggers cell regeneration through a process called cytokinesis, and this gives you new, healthy and permanent tissue growth that over time results in a much longer and thicker penis. I started seeing increases in size in about two weeks and eventually went from 5.5 inches long and 5 inches in diameter to over 8 inches long and exactly 6 inches in diameter.
