This is a question that I get asked all the time; How do I make money? Well, aside from the obvious and going out and getting a job, there are many other ways to make money.
First, you must provide something of value to someone else. It could be a product or service. If you work for someone else, you are providing a service to them.
Of course, you can work for yourself and cut out the middle man. If you ask “how do I earn money?” then you probably want something you can do from home. This has never been easier now that we have this thing called the Internet. The internet has opened countless doors for people like you and me looking to make a living from home. It has never been so easy and cheap to get your product or service to millions of people.
There are many scams to watch out for. We’ve all seen these get-rich-quick schemes claiming that all you need to do is press a few buttons or download some special software that will make you big money on autopilot. If these systems really worked, they would keep it to themselves and not tell the world for a few pounds or dollars. This is how they make their money and you lose yours.
So how do I earn money?
Okay, there are a ton of things you can do to make money from home. Here are some things I have tried that have allowed me a decent life from home.
– Blogging. A blog is a website that is frequently updated with new content. New posts are displayed at the top of the page. What you basically have to do is create your blog around a certain topic. This is called a niche. You can then sell your own or someone else’s products or services. The easiest way to do this is to sign up for affiliate programs. These companies will provide you with links and banners that you can place on your website to advertise their product or service. If someone buys it, you discount yourself. Sometimes this can go as high as 75% in your pocket for digital products like e-books. Most of the big companies now offer affiliate programs, so you have many to choose from to suit your niche. Creating a website or blog has never been easier. There are many platforms that you can use, like wordpress. If you can use a word processor, then you can create a website, it’s that easy.
– Selling products. Here you can make your own product or sell someone else’s. There are a large number of wholesalers where you can get cheap products to sell at a profit. The easiest place to start selling products is eBay, but to maximize your profits, you can create your own online store. This is very easy these days with various website builders to help you build your site. Gone are the days when you had to pay thousands of dollars to have your website professionally built.
– Archive photography. If you’re handy with a camera, this could be a great way to earn some money. All you need to do is upload your photos to stock websites. People pay to download these photos and every time they do it you get a crop, which is usually around 50%. You get between $ 2 and $ 35 for each photo downloaded. Some photos are downloaded thousands of times, so there is great potential here.
