Delivering Innovation

Like an earthquake, the coronavirus has shaken and is shaking millions.

Earthquakes are sudden, dangerous and terrifying. It shakes up what we thought was safe, strong and stable.

It is important to remember and consider the precious things that the coronavirus cannot touch: the immutable and unshakable truths that have not changed, because they cannot and never will.

Things that were true before the coronavirus will remain true long after.

They are massive pillars sunk deep into the eternal bedrock. We can lean on them, when so many other things we trusted have been shaken.

Our merciful God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is immutable.

God declares that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the one who is and the one who was and the one who is to come, the Almighty.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever: the Holy Spirit is described as ‘the eternal Spirit’.

The Word of God is as sure and firm now as it has ever been. His Word is living, permanent and imperishable.

God’s unchanging covenant love provides a solid foundation for our faith.

Jesus Christ was interceding with the Father for us long before the coronavirus, and the current pandemic has not stopped him. He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him.

The arrival of Judgment Day is a sobering thought. The coronavirus has postponed or canceled many meetings, but each of us will keep this appointment. It can not be helped.

Peter reminds us that in Christ we have an inheritance that is incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading.

Immutable truths can produce unwavering disciples.

Near the end of his life, Paul wrote, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

To fight the good fight and finish the race, we need to keep the faith.

Whatever situation you find yourself in today, make sure your commitment to Jesus Christ is solid, firm, and secure.

Remember that Jesus Christ, risen and alive, will never, ever let you down, let you down, or let you down.

We need to know that for sure in these uncomfortable and challenging times.

“Almighty and merciful heavenly Father, no matter what happens around me, as I read this article and pray, hear my prayer, answer me and strengthen me so that I can keep the faith and serve loyally, and never give up or give up. Father, hear me while I pray in Jesus name, amen.
