A healthy body has beautiful and healthy hair. Our hair is a reflection of our health.
At any one time, approximately 90 percent of the hair on the scalp is in its growth phase. This growth phase lasts from 2 to 6 years. Each hair grows approximately 1 centimeter per month during this phase. The rest, 10%, are in the resting phase. After 2 to 3 months, resting hair falls out and new hair begins to grow in its place. – Well chosen hairstyles often hide hair thinning and hair loss effectively. Wigs are recommended if hair loss is severe.

Some tips for beautiful, shiny hair:

o The key to beautiful hair is a clean scalp. Gently rub the lemon juice all over the scalp and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse. This treatment ensures absolutely clean and dandruff-free hair.

o Include a lot of calcium in the diet, through dairy products, sesame, figs.

o For dry hair, increase the intake of polyunsaturated oils such as sunflower oil, margarine and eat foods rich in vitamin B such as legumes, brown rice, bananas, etc.

o Wash hair regularly with Fuller’s earth (Multani Mitti). This will not only reduce oiliness, but your hair will feel much cleaner.

o Amla is an excellent hair tonic and nutrient. It also helps to cure graying of hair.

o Boil the dried amla pieces in coconut oil for a few minutes. Let cool and strain. Massage this oil into your hair regularly to get thick, shiny black hair.

o Henna or mehendi is an excellent hair conditioner.

o Boil some tea leaves in 2-3 cups of water. Strain the liquid, cool it and use it on the hair as the last rinse after shampooing.
