Delivering Innovation

You can’t be too careful when monitoring your property against thieves and muggers. As you may know, there are many types of surveillance devices to detect uninvited intruders. Different surveillance cameras are used for different purposes. Here are some of them:

1.Night vision cameras
This type of home security tool uses infrared light for night monitoring. Night vision cameras always show black and white images. Even if you use a color video camera, the image will automatically appear in black and white when the infrared LED light is activated. This is due to the fact that infrared lighting is like a single color. There are some types of night vision cameras that are interchangeable so they can be used for day and night surveillance. Such cameras are generally called day/night cameras. Day/Night cameras use a built-in light level sensor to switch between day and night modes. When there is enough light, it will automatically switch to day mode and vice versa.

2. Car video cameras
Expert thieves may have enough experience to detect the existence of surveillance cameras in the home. Far fewer cars have surveillance cameras, so one of these can help protect a valuable car… This type of camera is also useful for capturing car theft or vandalism. Car surveillance cameras can make a video recording that can be used as evidence by law enforcement personnel, which can facilitate prosecution and other legal action. Car video cameras can be installed on the dashboard, rear window, or other inconspicuous parts of your car.

3. Smoke detector cameras
Smoke detector cameras can be installed on the ceiling of a bedroom or kitchen or anywhere else you can install smoke detectors inside your home. There are two types of smoke detector cameras: a real smoke detector integrated with a surveillance camera, and simply a surveillance camera that looks like a smoke detector. Both types of cameras can be ignored by intruders as they resemble an ordinary smoke detector. However, note that the second type does not detect smoke; it is just a surveillance tool. Wireless smoke cameras have the advantage of easier installation, but require battery replacement.

4. Imitation security cameras
Using this way to protect your home may seem ridiculous. However, scaring off thieves with fake security cameras is better than nothing. These faux cameras are an inexpensive alternative to expensive high-tech surveillance systems. Be sure to select imitation cameras that look as close as possible to real CCTV cameras. That way, the thief will think twice before trying to break into your home.
