The iJoy 100 robotic massage chair is made with soft yet firm padding for comfort and relaxation.
I’ll share my thoughts on the iJoy 100, but first let me briefly describe the features…
Features of iJoy 100
First of all, you will be able to choose from three different 15-minute programs: upper back, lower back, and full back.
A combination of the following four main massage techniques will be used during your session:
- kneading,
- percussion,
- rolling, and
- compression.
The built-in massagers in the iJoy 100 adapt to the curves of your back and spine in an effort to make sure you feel the massage in just the right places.
A flexible headrest with a lumbar pillow is provided for added comfort while receiving your massage.
The backrest reclines around 150 degrees. That helps relax you even more while the quad roller massage system works on those stiff areas or persistent aches and pains.
There are wheels placed at the bottom of the chair to make it easy to reposition.
There’s also a built-in child safety lock which could come in handy if small children are around.

All in all, the iJoy 100 is not a luxury chair like many other (more expensive) massage chairs.
There aren’t many massage programs to choose from, and you won’t get a top-notch shoulder and neck massage.
If you don’t purchase the ottoman (sold separately), you also won’t get a lower body massage.
Also, there are no innovative features like Panasonic’s RealPro Elite body scanning technology or stiffness detection sensors built into Sanyo massage chairs.
On the upside, reviews from owners have been mostly positive. The iJoy 100 will give you quality massages at a great price.
