Delivering Innovation

In this article, I am going to share with you some natural acne treatments that I have personally tried before. And I hope this information is useful to you.

As you may already know, I used to be a sufferer of acne. The acne on my face made me feel horrible about myself and made me lose my self-confidence. I spent a lot of money and effort researching, buying, and trying all kinds of difficult products and treatment methods. Some are natural acne treatments. Some are not. My conclusion is that for short-term effects, over-the-counter medications such as acne creams or antibiotics are effective and necessary. However, you must simultaneously apply natural acne treatments for long-term results.

Below are 4 effective tips that I would like to recommend to you. Do these 4 things consistently and you will see lasting effects.

Tip #1: Cut back on sugar.

You are what you eat. Excessive consumption of sugar actually harms your health and your skin. Hides tend to produce more oil if you take in too much sugar. Excess oil is the main cause of acne by forming whiteheads/blackheads and eventually turning into acne scars if not treated well. I know that it is not easy to change the diet habit, especially for those who like to eat desserts. But you should at least try to reduce the amount or frequency of sugar intake. The good thing is that once you start doing that, you will feel the difference pretty quickly, within weeks or even days.

Tip #2: Get plenty of vitamin C and water.

You should drink plenty of water to detoxify and speed up the regeneration process of your skin. This is more important for girls than for boys, as girls’ skin generally needs more water. Getting enough vitamin C is also crucial because it is a key component in the skin’s repair process. Vitamin C is available in fruits like oranges and apples. Eating more fruit on a daily basis will give you enough vitamin C and will also help you reduce your sugar intake by eating less starches like rice or bread. Vitamin C tablets are also recommended as a supplement and are available at most convenient stores.

Tip #3: Use lemon on the pimple

Rich in vitamin C, lemon is one of the most effective natural acne treatments. What you need is a fresh lemon. Cut it into small pieces and then rub a piece of lemon on the pimple. Let the juice soak for about 20-30 minutes and wait another 20-30 minutes for it to dry on your skin (depends on your own skin condition, be flexible). Then rinse with warm water to remove stickiness. Lemon is an effective and natural treatment for acne because it has 100% natural citric acid, which when dried can have antibacterial effects. Lemon also helps firm the skin.

Tip #4: Use tea tree oil

Unbeknownst to most people, tea tree oil is one of the most effective and natural treatments for acne. Most of the time, you can find tea tree oil sold in small bottles at your local store. Tea tree oil can kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. To use tea tree oil, wash your face thoroughly and pat it dry. Apply tea tree oil directly on the skins where acnes develop. Helps reduce the size of acne/pimples and speeds up the healing process. Tea tree oil also helps your skin feel comfortable, so feel free to apply it elsewhere on your skin.

Keep in mind that the 4 natural acne treatments mentioned above do not make your acne go away overnight. It takes some time for you to see the effects. From my personal experiences, if you do it persistently, you will see lasting effects. Whereas applying creams or simply eating antibiotics are more like a short-term solution. I suggest you use long term and short term treatments for maximum results.
